On April 6, 2025 the Fullerton Museum opened their “Punk O.C: From The Streets of Suburbia“ exhibit. I was fortunate to be asked to contribute photos to this exhibit along with other photographers such as Alison Braun, Edward Colver, Linda Aronow and Dina Douglas. I was surprised how many of my photos they used. My friends at The Punk Rock Chronicles interviews my daughter and myself at about the 14 minute mark but you should watch the whole thing because it’s a lot of fun!

Jennifer Finch and I were interviewed by The Punk Rock Chronicles on March 31, 2024 at the one year anniversary party for The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas. We are in the second segment of this podcast.
Dave Vanian of the Damned from an Magazine photo shoot in Hollywood, 1988.
I started taking pictures at Los Angeles punk shows in the very early 1980’s, just as the punk hardcore scene was emerging. For a unpopular “weird” girl in high school, punk rock was my salvation. I loved going to shows and seeing bands. Getting to stand on the side of the stage with my camera during all those amazing shows was the experience of a lifetime. I have collected my photography from that era into My Punk Rock Life book.
My Punk Rock Life (second edition) is a 254-page, 8.5”x11” softcover coffee table book with over 300 rarely and never seen photos from the infancy of the hardcore punk scene. This addition has 14 additional pages and new photos not seen in the first edition.
